In our last holidays I went to Ney York with my parents and my sister Jane. We visited the Statue of Liberty and then Mum and Jane wanted to go shopping in the city. Dad and I do not like shopping very much, so we went to the harbour. We took some photos with our new camera. I walked along the street and looked for nice buildings. I did not notice that my father was not with me any more. When I wanted to show him a very tall skyscraper, I turned around to talk to him, but I could not find him. I was alone in the big city. At first I was scared and did not know what to do. Then I walked on and tried to find my mother and my sister. I asked a man if he knew some good shops, but he could not help me. I looked around. I was in a park and there were many people. What could I do? "Maybe I should go to the police", I thought. I tried to remember the name of our hotel in New York, but I was so confused and nervous that I could not think clearly. I sat down to relax. Suddenly somebody touched my shoulder. I jumped up and turned around. There was my sister! I was very happy to see her. My mother was also there. After some minutes we also found my father. We spent the rest of the day together.
